1997 GCDC was born after watching a documentary on Fox News www.foxbusiness.com and consulting one of our most senior advisors, a retired marketing manager of the Bank of Ireland www.bankofireland.ie
1997 GCDC acquired internet servers from the USA to begin as a website hosting business
1998 GCDC hired both hardware and software developers in Asia to launch the technology needed to support and backup the systems in place
1999 The decision was made to stay in Asia , due to the financial implications imposed by the UK Government
2000 We acquired agents in the UK, Europe, USA , Australia for our products and services
2001 As Asia was a rapid developing part of the world we concentrated on website design and 3D development, while benefiting from cheaper logistics and labour
2002 Was mainly spent on research and with plummeting electronic prices, cheaper more reliable products were sourced which replaced existing systems
2003 We prepared the move back to the western world as Asia had no benefit in comparison to the new logistics and labour that was emerging from the new member counties of Europe
2004 We moved our operation and technology from Asia to relocate on the Isle of Man; the decision was made due to the Isle of Man being a developed territory while having huge offshore benefits.
2005 GCDC became a trading name on the Isle of Man
2006 GCDC was dissolved to form GCDC Limited and registered company on the Isle of Man www.fsc.gov.im
2006 GCDC Limited saw the opportunity and purchased the domain name www.tynwald.co.uk to form Tynwald Website Design & Marketing.
2007 Saw us embark on a passive marketing strategy to further our strengths locally on the Isle of Man and show local businesses the value of using modern technology to increase sales and grow their market share
2007 Due to increased sales, GCDC Limited registered for VAT
2007 Our database of local and worldwide businesses grew which was carefully and painstakingly monitored and compiled that has proven priceless
2008 Was a very dynamic and productive year and saw our sales and revenue escalated beyond our expectations
2009 First Quarter, started at an alarming rate, we are already seeing businesses of all types using our services to cut costs in the world's current climate of financial worries.
